Welcome to CHEMISTRY 1130
& 1135 Elementary Chemistry
and lab Welcome to CHEM 1130/1135, Introduction to General, Organic and Biochemistry, an introductory chemistry course that helps meet the requirements of the General Education physical science group and the scientific inquiry requirements! This is a course designed primarily for students of nursing and some other fields of science and health professions who will take no more than one semester of chemistry. Special note: you are not required to come to the campus for the laboratory portion of this course.
Welcome to this Online course. We hope that you will find the course interesting and helpful . Our first goal is to help you be successful with this chemistry class. If at any time you have questions or concerns about the course, please feel free to contact me.
Academic Integrity: A description of cheating and possible sanctions may be found in the Student Code. You should obtain a copy at the office of the Vice President for Student Services and read it.
Plagiarism and cheating are serious offenses and may be punished by failure on the exam, failure in the course and/or expulsion from the university.
